Born in England in 1764, Charles Grey was the second Earl Grey. During a diplomatic mission to China he received a gift of the tea that became his personal favorite and would later bear his name. Earl Grey's Bergamot Flavor is of Asiatic and Mediterranean origins, the small Bergamot citrus produces an aromatic and orange like flavoring. 20 tea bags.
Dave Plaskett, our Director of Tea and resident "mad scientist" has been experimenting on new non-flavored teas. After several months of blending, testing, and tasting, Dave feels he's come up with two winning creations. Earl Grey has a long and interesting history of becoming one of the West's favorite teas.
